About this work:
Passacaglia on B-A-C-H is dedicated to the memory of Ljubisa Petrusevski, a great oboist and my teacher. It is derived from my work Passacaglia & Double Fugue on B-A-C-H and B-A-G-D-A-D, written first for keyboard (piano or harpsichord), and then for the string quartet.
If the harpsichord is not available, the bass line can be played on cello.
