About this work:
Three movements. Published by PDR Music (ASCAP). Mostly contrapuntal. 1st movement is fast(eighth note=152)to be played "gracefully, with spirit", 2nd is faster(eighth note=166) and marked "agitated, animated". Both movements have frequent and erratic meter changes. The 3rd movement is "energetic and bold"(quarter note=120)with interesting repetitive rhythmic figures accompanying the melody lines.
