Symphony

Harry Boyd

About this work:
The Symphony is basically tonal, rhythmic and very melodic. It is intended to be approachable and interesting even on the first hearing. The scoring is : 2222/4331/Timp+2/Strings. The first movement is dramatic and intense, ending triumphantly in a major key. The second movement is quiet and elegiac with striking melodies and harmony. The third movement is very energetic and rhythmic and brings the Symphony to a strong end. The score is only available in the bound version, which includes part scores for a standard orchestra. The full-length synthesized version (mp3) can be found on my website. A copy of the full score and a CD of the synthesized version are available for the cost of shipping.
